On this page we will discuss language resources that are very useful to learn foreign languages in combination with Internet Polyglot. These are Pimsleur and Rosetta Stone.

  1. Pimsleur

From the creator of Internet Polyglot (user Polyglot):
"Pimsleur is a wonderful product for learning foreign languages. It literally giving your learning information step by step, repeating many times, in a very good and efficient manner. It is an audio course - broken into 3 parts (beginner, intermediate, advanced), each part contains about 30 lessons. Each lesson is about 25-30 minutes long. How I usually used Pimsleur - I would listen to the course while having a walk or while driving a car to work or home. One thing that I understood about this course is to repeat each lesson several times. In this case the material is much better memorized. I used Pimsleur several times in my life. First, in around 2003-2004 when I was learning French, I used it in conjunction with Rosetta Stone and using these two products gave a wonderful result - in about 6 months I was fluent in French.
In 2011 I used Pimsleur (at that time I used only Pimsleur) for learning Spanish - I completed 2 levels over 3 months and then went to Costa Rica for a tourist trip. I was super happy to find out that I was able to get by and communicate with local people."
